Synergy provides several fitness classes to meet every athletes needs and beyond. In addition to providing classes geared towards athletes, we are in the process of building a strong group fitness program for all individuals and are the 1st AntiGravity® Yoga studio in the midwest! We currently offer AntiGravity® Yoga, AntiGravity® Yoga: Restorative, Prenatal Yoga, and Belly Dance. Feel free to contact us if you would like to see other classes at Synergy! AntiGravity® Yoga - Restorative
AntiGravity® Restorative is the gentle, healing side of AntiGravity® Yoga. This powerful method focuses the mind through powerful visualizations as it floats the body through a series of gentle gyro kinetic motions, deeply opening the entire spine, hips, and connective tissues of the body. This technique features full body inversions, alongside various forms of flowing spinal traction. This therapeutic method offers accessibility to students with physical limitations, but is loved by all as a portal into deeper spinal flexibility, and mind/body connection.
Belly Dance Basics and Beyond
Add some excitement to your exercise routine. No experience required. This gentle, low impact class uses drills and isolations to teach the beginner fundamentals of postural alignment, core awareness, and fluidity of movement used in belly dance. Belly dance is a fun way to improve coordination, relieve stress, strengthen the core, enhance flexibility, improve self-confidence and make new friends. Unveil the mystery while stretching and strengthening a new sensuous you. Belly dance is for everybody and every BODY. Class attire: comfortable clothing and bare feet. Fear not! No bare bellies required!
Prenatal Yoga provides a relaxed and nurturing atmosphere where you can enhance the bonding process with your baby while supporting the development and strengthening of your body, mind, and spirit during pregnancy. The yoga exercises and postures, deep breathing techniques, and mantras greatly impact the quality of your pregnancy and birth experience as well as the many changes your body and emotions go through after the baby arrives. This class ends with an extra long relaxation period.
The benefits of a regular prenatal yoga practice will provide you with the healthiest and most peaceful pregnancy possible. Prenatal yoga practice can also help ease morning sickness, alleviate edema, and prevent varicose veins.This class is also a wonderful opportunity to meet other pregnant women who can relate with you as you experience the miracle of the life growing within you and the transition of becoming a mother.
